Helwell Beach is a Jurassic fossil beach in Watchet, just a short walk from the Marina. It is a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest). There are lots of steps to get there, so it's not accessible by wheelchair or anyone who finds stairs difficult. It's a rocky beach and you need to check the tide times before you visit there.

This is a cycle route that goes from Watchet to Minehead. some off road paths and some on road. A very scenic route taking in the sea views.
