BEST BLACES TO VISIT

Snorkel on our beach between 4Pm and 6Pm, the fish life is amazing and is very close to the shoreline. Pack in a nice cooler bag of Seybrew and snacks and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and amazing sunset. There are four beaches on the island which can also be visited.

Transport

I would suggest that you rent a vehicle for the duration of your stay, this will allow you to do your shopping and visit other places on the Island of Mahe, Seychelles

Shopping

Being a South African and having a weak currency, we have learnt over the years to shop wisely in the Seychelles at the more economical and quality stores. I would therefore like to make the following suggestions. Herewith a few places you can go to to purchase general requirements for your stay: 1. Visit ISPC shopping centre. Here you will be able to purchase most food and alcohol requirements. 2. A worthwhile suggestion, if you love fish is to try the Redsnapper, also known as a Bourzwa in Creole (this is considered a delicacy in local Creole food) and can be purchased at Decklands.

3. A gas cylinder for the barbecue/braai is provided at the house however if this needs to be replenished, this can be done at the gas station on the right hand side just before town. 4. You can visit Fresh Cuts Butcher for your meats, this is situated on your way to town, at the first circle you will take your first exit.

5. For the best beer in town, Seybrew, you can purchase this by case from S. S. Pillay and Company in Providence, their contact details is PH 2344005. With the visits to the above you should have most of your requirements, further daily needs (ice, bread, milk, cold meats, chicken etc) can purchased from the SPAR on Eden Island.
