There is a lovely bush walk along a local fire trail only 900 meters from our front gate. Walk through the bush and listen to the birdsong. It takes about an hour, it is approximately 6 kilometres at an slight incline.

City/town information
Although Cessnock is our closest town, Branxton is not much further in a northerly direction. Branxton is a small village shich still retains a country feeling. There is a Coles Supermarket at Huntlee just before the town or shop where the locals shop at the IGA in the heart of Branxton. Try the local butcher Hungerford Meats for local produce and pickup a coffee at The Crib Box. During the summer months Branxton Pool is a great 33 metre pool to cool off in.
