Located in the heart of Orangeville’s downtown core, The Bluebird Café and Grill originated in 1982 from a natural food store owned by Jennifer Grant. Jennifer had a deep desire to open a little healthy eatery in conjunction with her retail operation. When the unit beside her store on Broadway became available, she leapt at the opportunity. “The Bluebird Café” name was inspired by a local regular and friend who had been a driving force in re-populating the Eastern Bluebird in our county. The bluebird box program was initiated to bring the bluebird numbers back up to a healthy presence. One of Teresa's favourites!
