Pizzas there are incredible!, Great coffee,and food is tasty, variety of gf and vegetarian options, seating outside and wonderful staff. If you sit out on roadside, usually enertainment over in the village green.

Great selection of pies, and you have to be quick!! Fish n chips are a real treat, and the times I've had them they were crispy and golden! Sandwiches, cakes and tea, milkshakes, ice-creams, drinks. Sit in or take away.

Holly owner operates this great little place. Food is great, nice relaxing atmosphere, small venue but lively! Summer months will bring a DJ or live bands during summer months. Three Berry cider very tasty, and selection of beers on tap.

Sightseeing
Farewell Spit is a great place to take the kids and get them out in the Fresh Air. Iconic as this is the top of the south island and the spit looks like a kiwis beak! About a 45 minute drive towards Collingwood from township, follow the signs. You cant walk out on spit and if you have spare time take the bus from Collingwood as the tour guides have heaps of knowledge about the area. Its a long one though, take food and a drink! Beautiful here, try go on a still day, windy day could be a bit wild!!

Farewell Spit
Farewell Spit is a great place to take the kids and get them out in the Fresh Air. Iconic as this is the top of the south island and the spit looks like a kiwis beak! About a 45 minute drive towards Collingwood from township, follow the signs. You cant walk out on spit and if you have spare time take the bus from Collingwood as the tour guides have heaps of knowledge about the area. Its a long one though, take food and a drink! Beautiful here, try go on a still day, windy day could be a bit wild!!
Great walk to the waterfall. Beautiful nature bush scene with a bonus of waterfalls as a treat when you get to the end. Its a very sacred place here so please don't eat food or go swimming. Take your food to Wainui beach, short drive by car once back at carpark - follow signs to Tui Community Carpark. Short stroll to the beach with breath taking blue/green waters and sand will be a great finish to your day!

Its a very sacred place here so please don't eat food or go swimming. Take your food to Wainui beach, short drive by car once back at carpark - follow signs to Tui Community Carpark. Short stroll to the beach with breath taking blue/green waters and sand will be a great finish to your day!
This has to be top of the list when visiting Golden Bay!! A great bush walk ending up at the platform of crystal clear fresh waters that pump volumes of water from the floor below. Very spiritual place to all those that visit. No swimming or contact due to this being sacred to Maori. . At front entrance is information relating to this, so take time and give it a good read. Definitely a peaceful stroll in amongst birdsong and nature. A short stroll around the whole Springs. Please leave food in carpark.
