The Peak Tap Room is a favorite amongst locals! It is a bar with pizza, but family-friendly during the day. You can load your pizza with as many toppings as you like, at the same price. They are brick oven pizzas, so if you don't want "dark spots" just ask for it to be blonde! The pizzas take about 40 minutes, so call your order in ahead if you will be in a hurry.

You cannot find a better place to eat on the beach! We like to have brunch here on Sundays - but get there early to get a seat on the balcony overlooking the pier.

Book Before You Come
There are a few things on the island that you must make reservations for! You will want to do that before you get here so that you don't miss out!
Surf City is a Loggerhead Sea Turtle Sanctuary and this Rescue and Rehab Center is world-renowned for its work rescuing sea turtles of all species. They are only open for tours during peak seasons and require advanced tickets. In 2021, they sold out several weeks in advance.
