Natural spring fed Comal is the shortest river! It's home to some endangered species, so please love our rivers and leave them better than you found them. Starting in Landa Park and ending in the Guadalupe river, the Comal is always 71 degrees and perfect for a short tube float with three chutes.

Be Nice
We never, ever, EVER litter (especially in our gorgeous rivers) and we smile and are courteous drivers. Don't honk in town unless you're waving at a friend, our traffic has increased, so leave extra time to get where you're going. Don't trample on bluebonnet flowers or pick them. Locals will be extremely offended. When taking photos on a field of bluebonnets, tread lightly and try to find a bare spot before sitting (and watch for snakes). We don't say howdy, but nearly everyone says hey y'all. Smile and take your time enjoying beautiful NB. The Comal river is always 71 degrees Fahrenheit.
