A scenic picnic location, Bullocky Rest overlooks the picturesque surrounds of the Moreton Bay Region's Lake Samsonvale, and is open from 6am daily. With a playground, numerous picnic shelters, BBQ's and toilets, this is a much loved destination for those wanting to have a relaxing outdoor Sunday afternoon. Only 7 or 8 minutes from the Binalong Guesthouse by car. Known for Koala spotting.

Only 10 mins from Binalong Guesthouse, Cedar Creek near Samford offers rock pools, waterfalls, fishing spots and plenty to see and do (you may even spot a platypus!). Ideal for a leisurely morning or afternoon short drive, stop and explore or have a picnic.
Voted as one of the top attractions to visit near Brisbane, Rocky Hole is a stunning swimming hole etched into the natural contours of Mount Mee’s granite filled gullies. Surrounded by open eucalypt forest, Rocky Hole is a picturesque location to take a dip on a hot summer day.
The swimming hole is only a short 200 metres from the car park. It is easily accessed by a walking track and stairs that descend onto boulders that surround the main swimming hole. Home not only to an adorable waterfall, but also a timber swing, only accessible by those brave enough to swim across. Aside from the main swimming area, which can be quite deep in areas, there are shallow spots for smaller children.
