This aquarium is right around the corner and includes a wonderful butterfly garden (spectacular in spring) and botanic gardens. It is right next to one of the bosque trails along the Rio Grande for those who would like to go on a bosque hike.

Nature and Exercise
Half a block to the east from the house is a trail entrance to the bike path. Take the path along the freeway for about half a mile when it joins the north/south bosque bike trail. You can walk to one of the entrances to paths along the river or ride you bike south to the Tingley Beach or north to the Nature Center.
