Owner and multi-award winning head chef Brad Nascone says, "It's a place where you can sit and talk, have a nice bottle of wine, and enjoy good food with a good view overlooking the beach. It’s a casual dining experience with that warm feeling. We’re not trying to do high end dining – we enjoy seeing our customers return for a meal twice a week rather than once a month."

Fingal Head, located on the Tweed Coast of northern NSW, is a place of natural beauty and is one of the areas hidden gems. The headland itself is an amazing basalt rock formation that was formed around 23 million years ago by ancient lava flows from the nearby and extinct shield volcano, Mt Warning. Mt Warning is also known as Wollumbin to the local Aboriginal people and it is one of the world's largest and best examples of an erosion caldera with a diametre of over 40km.

Nine Mile Reef, off Tweed Heads, has a reputation among locals as being a “sharky” spot. All year long, a good population of wobbegongs call the reef home, but are joined by leopard sharks in summer and grey nurse sharks in winter. But other shark species drop in from time to time, including bull sharks, bronze whalers and even the occasional hammerhead. The top of the reef sits at about 10 metres deep, dropping to 30 metres with the drop-off covered in numerous hard and soft corals. Reef fish are scattered across the shallower parts, with pelagic fish, sharks, turtles, stingrays, eagle rays and the occasional manta ray circling the reef.
