We love this pub. The views over the South Downs are hard to beat in the summer and the food is brilliant. It's a 1km walk from the house.

Views overlooking the harbour. Wonderful food and a great atmosphere. We come here sometimes for our date night or in the day we will walk around the harbour (footpaths clearly signposted) and finish here for a drink.

This beach is a great spot for winter walks with dogs or summer swimming. It'll take you approximately 20 minutes to drive there from the Hideaway.

You can't get more beautiful than Bosham! We often take the kids down to feed the ducks in the winter/swim in the summer. It has a lovely walk around the harbour if you want to do some house snooping, too! The Anchor Bleu is a great pub right on the water.

Things to do
This is our favourite local sparkling wine (we're blessed to have some wonderful local vineyards!). Tinwood offer vineyard tours and wine tasting sessions which are a great way to spend an afternoon. They are a short 5 minute drive from the Hideaway.

Wander through the 300 foot long Edwardian pergola, visit the restored Victorian glasshouses, Walled Kitchen Gardens, Sunken Garden and orchards. Finish with a walk through the arboretum, Spring Garden and the peaceful parkland.

In my opinion, this is Chichester's best independent restaurant by some distance, it's in the city centre. Great food and service.
