You cannot miss Casa Maradone if you want to see how he lived with his parents while playing (2257, Lascano St. www.lacasaded10s.com).The Argentino Jrs museum and the memorabilia shop next to one of the entrances. Ig you just walk around you'll find plenty of wall painting...

Fresh fish is available at Los reyes del pescado in 3231, Nogoyá St. just in front of the level crossing and a very cheap vegetable shop. The tuesday food market is in San Martin Avenue and Bolivia Street, from 8 to 14 hrs.

From the outside tables, you look at the building where Julio Cortazar spent part of his childhood, incredible provincial atmosphere. Excellent breakfast and lunches, you can dine at night during weekends, better with reservation!

Easiest way to move
Metrobus (dedicated lanes for buses) and subway (tube) are the fastest means of public transport. From the aptm you have 146 and 105 buses going downtown. You can get off Avenida Juan B. Justo and get 34 or 109 to Palermo. From the aptm you can also get 78 bus to Lacroze train St. and take the B subway line to downtown. You can use the sube card I leave at home and charge it in any kiosk showing the Sube logo. If you want to move by taxi, I reccomend the BAtaxi app you can download on your mobile. From and to Retiro, the fastest way is the San Martin train line, you can get at Villa del Parque

Food fair from producers to consumers
The "Feria de economia social de Agronomia" takes place one weekend per month and reunites 120 producers and artisans selling directly to consumers. It is organized by the Agricultural Faculty of Buenos Aires and it's suspended in case of rain. Plenty of ethnic food, music and gardens to spend time to enjoy nature. Entrance from San Martin Avenue and Nogoyá.
