It is recommended to order tickets online and in advance. Very few same day tickets, if any, are available and tickets are not sold on site. Heads up- Must show proof of vaccination. Great place to indulge in modern art from the 1960's to current, with rotating exhibits. Plan on a 2 hour visit.

There are an endless number of trails hiding in just the Beacon area alone that range from:
EASY- Walking trails with little to no incline or obstacles along the river or to visit ruins
MODERATE- Some difficulty including inclines and some obstacles, includes short or long hikes, safe for the moderately active
DIFFICULT- Please note, difficulty level could be just an intense incline but simple to navigate like Mount. Beacon or Difficult could be hand a foot rock scrambling that could be dangerous without the proper coordination, like Breakneck Ridge.
NOTES: Most trails in the highlands are heavily traveled and parking can fill up quickly. In non winter months it is suggested to start before 9am or after 4pm for less traffic in the lots and on trails.

Solid Diner food. Quick and Economical. Yankee clipper was built solely to be featured in the movie Nobody's Fool with Paul Newman which was filmed in Beacon. Instead of boarding it up like many other buildings on main street at that time, it was turned into an actual functional business.

Our perfect little, 3 screen movie theatre serving beer, wine and cocktails along with all of your other favorite movie treats. Previously the Beacon theatre decades ago. They show new releases and occasional throw-backs. For big movie releases definitely book tickets online in advance.
