Hipster central. Best coffee in the city. Sublime. Also great pastries, and an interesting walk. Head right on 24th st and left on Valencia, about 30-40 min walk with lots to see on the way.

Great little mom and pop taqueria. Delicious fresh salsa. If you are on a budget, you only need to order the supertaco - one is enough.

Closest coffee that I can stand. Home made pastry, but a bit on the sweet side. If you just can't walk to Four Barrel or Ritual this is meh but way better than Martha and Bros bitter coffee.

One of my favorites. The place is hard to find, no sign, just a lit up firefly sculpture. Always good food. "international California cuisine"

Really cool graffiti street art - actually art - walk left on Church, then right on 24th and keep going. You will see lots of cool things on the way. Tons of huge murals. This street is the pinnacle.
