While not as big as Stevens Pass, Mission ridge makes the most of their area with excellent runs and a great park. Located in Wenatchee, Mission Ridge is an excellent option if your looking to beat the crowds of stevens and still get some quality time on the slopes in.

Housing a world class pump track as well as the only skate park in town, Enchantment Park is the perfect spot to take kids and let them run wild. The views are excellent and you can get there by walking through Black Bird Island which is a lovely walk

Blackbird island is a perfect place to walk and get away from the crowds if you desire. There are numerous pathways to chose from that are nestled in the trees and flanked by the river. During the summer there are some great spots for jumping into the river (which the locals take advantage of)!

Lake Wenatchee is a perfect spot to take family and friends for a beach day in the mountains! The water is clear and crisp and the lake actually has a beach that is perfect for kicking back. This is a great spot for paddle boarding as well as boating.

Blue Spirits is a local distillery with an excellent selection of drinks and an even lovelier tasting room to hang out in. A personal favorite in town for sure. As far as food goes, I recommend eating before since their options are limited to snacks and finger foods.

Walking is the best way to see anything within Leavenworth
Avoid the parking hassle by walking if your willing. The views here are excellent and the hassle of parking wont be an issue. However, if you intend on driving I would recommend Leavenworth Shuttle and Taxi. They service Leavenworth proper and will get you where you need to go promptly.

River Float
Floating the river during the summer is a must do here in town at least once (if not more). It may take a bit of organizing since you will need someone to drop you off and pick you up but it is definitely worth it.
The entrance to the start point of the float is at the fish hatchery public access
