The Elora Gorge is one of the most beautiful and spectacular natural areas in the Grand River valley. The Grand River rushes past 22-metre high cliffs. Riverside trails (with safety barriers) and scenic overlooks provide hikers with stunning views of the water far below where kayakers and tubers make their way through the rapids.

The centre of attention is the two acre limestone quarry encircled by sheer cliffs up to 12 metres (40 feet) high. The tree-covered conservation area has places to picnic and enjoy nature. Note that alcohol and dogs are not permitted.

Another must for the book loving traveller. This is one of the best 'previously-loved' book stores I've ever seen. And I've seen a few in my day. They have great quality books, are really well-organized and its not overly dusty. And, above all, they have an online catalogue. So much better that shopping on Amazon.
