A family owned nano-brewery with some of the most consistently fantastic beer in the area. Also has a small homebrew store should you need any of that stuff. It is small, so visiting off peak time is a good idea if you don't like crowds

A four season resort 15 minutes down the road from the house. Has all kinds of activities like a water park, golf, mini golf, rock climbing, etc. Great place for families and couples. During the winter months has the best skiing around

This is a challenging hike to the summit of massanutten mountain. It will require some scrambling around boulders and narrow pathways. The summit gives one of the most breathtaking views in the area, but be warned, it is a difficult hike.

A great out and back hike along the massanutten trail. View from the fire tower is jaw dropping and one of the best places for sunrise views if you've got the equipment for hiking in the dark. Moderate difficulty. Great views from the parking area. Also convenient to gwnf
