BEACH TIPS
GO EARLY>>> Unique tip... Go to federal side. Little salty on their price. Once you go in, park at the old shipwreck site and walk past the RV area to the beach. There are no lifeguards FYI but very few people. Also you will walk past the restrooms and wash area on the way to the beach and back.

Great place for a large playground, may areas of open grass and baseball fields. Can ride your bikes or take a walk. Ice cream is nearby and a couple places to eat or play mini golf as well.

Small local casino with table games, slots, and horse races. Food isn't top notch but is good for what they have but a great way to relax for a little time. Make sure you sign up when you first go in for a couple free dollars to spend.

The local Walmart. I will say very clean compared to some I have personally been. Close by about 10-15 minutes with traffic. Many other shops in that area as well and restaurants. Make sure to grab some sunscreen and other essentials while there.
