A really good Italian restaurant with great desserts. It's a tad on the spendy side, but if you want a romantic dinner in a dark, quiet place, this is a good choice.

Great sandwiches! And, well, there are all those pastries, too. Their bread is pretty delicious, too, if you want to pick up a loaf to snack on during the day. They close at 6PM.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the entire city. There have pho, bahn mi sandwiches, good salmon and tofu dishes & yummy desserts. Open until 9PM. Closed on Sunday.

Super nice staff, great beer and $2.50 pints all day on Monday! The food is just average, though, so we'd advise you to stick to the beer.

Hands down, our favorite bar in Portland. It's your quintessential neighborhood tavern. Their food is also surprisingly good. Very cozy and you'll find friendly folks here.

We definitely recommend grabbing a drink here at the bar. This place has been here for 100+ years and the bar is beautiful. The food is pretty good, but you can get better Italian food elsewhere.

Honestly, puppets (especially marionettes) scare the crap out of Kristin, so we have never been in here. However, it looks pretty cool from the outside. Let us know how it is!

We love this place! There's an off-leash dog park, so you can watch the pups run about and there is river access and a dock, so you can swim in the Willamette in the summertime. Picnic tables & grills
