A 20-minute drive from Snowline, but well worth it, North Fork Brewery has a large selection of small-batch beer. Starters, salads (including a delicious Cesar), calzone, grinders, and really good pizza.

A great stop for coffee, heading up to Glacier or if you want a little more of a drive then right down to Glacier. In Maple Falls, Joe's makes tasty granola, breakfast sandwiches, paninis and burritos. Stop by and grab their single-use pour-over to take with you up to the cabin or while out on a hike enjoying the beauty of the region.

The most photographed lake in the US is only a short 20-minute drive from the cabin! On a calm sunny day, the reflection of Mount Shuksan off the still waters can't be missed! Keep in mind the lake is frozen and snow-covered in winter and early spring so there will be no reflection, though the view of Mount Shuksan is worth it either way!
