Brookgreen Gardens is the floral jewel of South Carolina's coast. Located north of Charleston and south of Myrtle Beach on South Carolina's Hammock Coast, the 9,127-acre property preserves this historic site's natural and cultivated landscape. The Live Oak Allée is comprised of 250-year-old Live Oak trees that were planted in the early 1700s when today's Brookgreen Gardens was four thriving rice plantations. Brookgreen Gardens contains the largest and most comprehensive collection of American figurative sculpture in the country, displayed in a stunning garden setting, three galleries and a visible storage and research facility.

Huntington Beach offers its visitors the best preserved beach on the Grand Strand.
The park's freshwater lagoon, saltmarsh, maritime forest and beach are outstanding examples of the state's natural coastal environment. These also provide such prime habitat for birds that the park is widely recognized as one of the best birding sites along the East Coast.
Huntington Beach is also the site of the historic Atalaya castle. The former winter home and studio of noted American sculptress, Anna Hyatt Huntington, and her husband, Archer Milton Huntington, Atalaya is also listed as a National Historic Landmark.

Yoga on the beach with your hosts! Cost is $10 per person. Classes are 830 am on Tuesdays and 6 pm on Thursdays. Go through the metal gate and walk south - you will see us! Look for the big OM!

Food scene
Frank’s Outback has 45 seats inside the building and interestingly, the patrons get to walk through the open kitchen to enter the dining room. Once inside, you sense a warm welcoming atmosphere. The walls are painted in a cool blue with original artwork on the walls. White tablecloths, candle light, hand polished silverware and glassware grace the tables. There are also 100 seats outside, set in a garden setting under a canopy of trees. The outdoor seats are covered and not affected by weather. In the Fall and Winter guests are warmed by infrared heaters and the large outdoor fireplace. Great food! Great environment!
