Great views of the city. The lower level of the tower has some very interesting murals from the 1940's. Visitors can view them for free. You can also often see the birds of Telegraph hill by going up the Filbert steps. There are many beautiful garden on that route as well. If you don't want to climb all the stairs, we recommend accessing the tower from North Beach.

This is a great place to get visitor information (bike rentals, city tours, transit info, etc). There are many little shops and restaurants here. There's a farmer's market on Saturdays. You can access most of the Ferries here.
