Very good pizza with crispy bases and both classic and creative toppings. You could even try the "Bullaburra" pizza, topped with saltwater crocodile, wild lime and ginger marinade and coconut cream...

Up there with the best coffee in the Mountains. It's called "Double Ristretto" because each coffee has two ristrettos - the creamiest part of an espresso - making it extra tasty.

Really good coffee and light lunch/snacks/sweets, plus you can catch the latest art exhibition while you're there (and use the library's free wifi!).

Mmmm... Campos Coffee... Anonymous ticks the three boxes of great coffee, food and atmosphere. They only do scrambled eggs though - just so you know!

Half an hour's drive (you could take the train if planning to drink) but it's worth it for a true fine-dining experience. There are no views, but you'll be too transfixed with your plate to care.

One of the few places that delivers take-away food to our door. And it's really good! For those nights when you just want to stay inside and order in.

The closest large supermarket to our place. The car park can get very busy on weekends; if so you're better off going to Katoomba Woolworths or Coles.

Big supermarket with an underground parking lot and lots of conveniences in one place - groceries, alcohol, pharmacy etc. This is also where you'd park your car to go to the Cultural Centre.
