Our local gastropub has good food, is very dog friendly and is only a 3 min drive or 35mins lovely walk over the common (we don’t recommend you walk back in the dark as it’s a rural footpath with no lighting). It can get busy at the weekends, we advise booking early.

If you're a cyclist then you'll be in a bit of bike heaven around here!
From the Olympic bike routes around Box Hill, to the Surrey Cycleway which goes from here, through 150km of stunning scenery, all the way to the coast, this is perfect place to enjoy your bike! The North Downs are zig-zagged with cycle trails and most of the local villages have lovely little bike cafes along the way.
