Kultur

The Art Center Silkeborg Bad never stands still. Here you can experience changing exhibitions of both Danish and international artists, who time after time transform the old spa "Silkeborg Bad" into an inspiring museum filled with surprises. History Historically, Silkeborg Bad is the oldest water facility in Silkeborg. It opened in 1883 and served until 1983. The watercourse was brought here because of the iron-containing water of Arnakkekilden, which flows into Ørnsø and is also drained by Carlsberg for their mineral products. Today, the bathing center is a major tourist attraction and an obvious visit if you are in Silkeborg or just need an artistic and cultural retreat in everyday life.
