Surrounded by a boating lake in the summer that turns into an ice rink in winter, the castle houses the Museum of Hungarian Agriculture, the largest agricultural museum in Europe.

Built between 1854 and 1859 in the Moorish Revival architectural style and with a capacity of over 3,000 people, it is the largest synagogue in Europe. The synagogue complex houses the Great Synagogue, the Heroes’ Temple, the graveyard, the Memorial and the Jewish Museum.
