Ancestral home of 13th Duke of Argyll (Clan Campbell).
Tours daily from Easter to October throughout the castle - highest entrance hall of any Castle in Scotland and displaying a variety of arms.
Beautiful gardens to walk around and a shop and tearoom.
Sometimes the Duke or his family will serve you in the shop in the summer!

This is a beautiful Himalayan garden (National Trust for Scotland). Especially in the spring - a wonderful time to see the colourful rhododendrons and azaleas which are magnificent. Many fine trees and plants.
