There is live music on Friday and Saturday nights and dancing as well as raffles and gambling and food that is common in pub bistros in Australia eg steak and salad. There is also a courtesy bus on Fridays and Saturdays.

Lots of great walks in the rain forest. Segway "walks" plus miles and miles of rainforest walks. For example you can walk across to Binna Burra if you are fit enough.
