Favorite things To Do
I’ve added my list of favorites things to do with family, children or friends! Hope you enjoy!
Galveston is a great beach spot. You can park on the sea wall or find different beach pockets that allow you to drive on the sand. If you are going all day bring plenty of water, snacks and shade. My favorite time of day is to go later afternoon to dusk. It is not as crowded or hot and you can get so many beautiful sunset images. There is one spot right in front of the San Luis that will set up an umbrella and chairs for around $40 if you don’t want to bring your own.

Kemah Boardwalk is part of the Tillman Fertitta ongoing list of entertainment venues located right on the bay. It’s a delightful boardwalk with lots of games, rides and restaurants to accommodate the whole family. We especially love the rides for the little kids and enjoy visiting anytime of the year! Make sure you do the train ride, eat at the aquarium and take a ride on the Ferris wheel for beautiful coastal views.

This is one of our favorite safari animal zoos. Try to go earlier in the day when it is not as crowded. You will see all sorts of animals and everyone will have so much fun!

Welcome to Space City! There is so much to do and see here for the whole family! Beat the houston heat but visiting and go early to avoid the crowds!

Baybrook mall is owned by the same mall company as the houston galleria and they have done an outstanding job expanding an outdoor section with tons of restaurants, shops and a large green space where kids can run free and play. We love to sit outside Sweet Paris Creperie and have a bottle of Rose while the kids run around. It won’t disappoint on a breezy night!

This is a really fun place for adults or kids! It’s an incredible interactive art display for selfies, pictures and enjoying color! Try going M-TH when the ticket prices are less expensive. Great to beat the heat or on a rainy day.

Favorite Local Restaurants
Houston has one of the biggest restaurant scenes and I’ve included some of our favorite spots down south.
This is a local upscale dining restaurant in the Clear Lake Area. They do a fantastic job at everything and especially the steak. If you are looking for a nice quote and classy dinner you must go here. Probably in the $$$-$$$$ range.

Hands down the best fajitas around. They have fresh homepage flower tortillas and you will not be disappointed by anything on their menu. The margaritas are sooo good and strong! My favorite way to have one is half rocks half frozen! Enjoy!
