Food scene
Jargon is one of our favorite places to go eat. It’s right on Haywood Rd, with very easy parking in the lot nearby. The food is amazing and there are always some Vegan / Vegetarian options. Fabulous wine list too! The outdoor patio is so beautiful and relaxed. The owner is frequently out visiting tables to make sure everyone is happy. We love it!

Everyone loves 9 Mile! It’s Carribbean food! Vegan options available and you can adjust how spicy each dish is from not spicy at all to SUPER spicy! There are 3 9 Miles! There’s one super close to the house in South Asheville, a really wonderful location in West Asheville, and one in the historic Montford neighborhood which is also just wonderful to visit.

233 Montford AveEveryone loves 9 Mile! It’s Carribbean food! Vegan options available and you can adjust how spicy each dish is from not spicy at all to SUPER spicy! There are 3 9 Miles! There’s one super close to the house in South Asheville, a really wonderful location in West Asheville, and one in the historic Montford neighborhood which is also just wonderful to visit.
Whether you are vegetarian or not, you will LOVE Plant. It’s completely vegetarian, but meat eaters will definitely find incredible options. This is a very popular (famous) place, so make sure you get reservations, although sometimes you can just show up and be lucky. Don’t miss the cheese plate - it’s so delicious! There is indoor and outdoor seating. The patio is not incredible, but the food certainly is!

You cannot EVEN imagine all the tea!!!!! Our favorite is to get the Masala Chai for two. It comes w honey and cream (oat/almond/etc) snd in a beautiful tea set. The food is exceptional vegetarian. I cannot get enough of the Thai Peanut Noodle Salad but everything’s great! Leave room for dessert! Very casual. There’s one downtown and one in West Asheville on Haywood.
