Sightseeing

The food is pretty good here, but what we all really go there for is THE VIEW! This place is pricey but NOT to be missed, even if you just have a drink & appetizer! Fried green beans are really good, btw! We always request a patio table. Nothing else quite like it! It stays light in Twin Falls till after 10pm during summer so going for Happy hour is great too & you can sit around the fire pit. Nice spot to hop on the canyon rim walking trail & stroll a little as well… have some iced tea after your walk. Hope you enjoy!

Visitors are always surprised to find our little local wonder. Taller than Niagara by 52 feet, it’s always stunning whether it’s in full flow (March/April) or the water’s a little low. It’s a great place to take in the waterfall, canyon & river & experience the rugged beauty of southern Idaho. There’s a visitor center with snack bar & you can bring a picnic lunch too! Hiking trails are all over & the Canyon rim trail ends here as well. Deirke’s Lake park is there too… great picnic & swimming/fishing spot with some hidden little lakes where kids cliff jump! Not my thing, but my boys grew up doing back flips out there… not for the faint of heart! Just turn left on the road where it V’s off as you drive back up to park entrance.

Nothing like a few hours on the Snake River! If you have 4 hours & want to experience nature, beauty & cool off during our hot summer days… DO THIS! AWOL rents kayaks & paddle boards (w/ life vests!) daily & if you can bring a little cooler w/ you for drinks & snacks, you’re in for good time! Hop on the AWOL website & reserve your board or kayak asap. Don’t forget to pack sunscreen in your cooler & buy a cord so you don’t lose your sunglasses. You’re very likely to see BASE jumpers flying off the Perrine bridge, which is cool to watch! You can go all the way to Pillar Falls, but we don’t recommend swimming near that area. Just jump in the middle of the river to cool off! SO. MUCH. FUN.

We have 12 stunning miles for you to enjoy a walk, run or bike ride along the Snake River Canyon. Bring water, but there are a few spots to grab a drink along the way if needed. Don’t forget your camera phone & slather on the sunscreen 😉

OMGOSH, There IS something in the water! It’s magical, wonderful, melt you stress away, feel good H2O! Spend a little extra & get a private VIP pool! They’re nicer & bigger than the other little “compact” private pools. Bring some drinks/snacks or you can buy some there & they even rent towels if you forget or don’t want to bother bringing your own. Just soak your cares away as you gaze at the clear, starry night sky! Our favorite is going during winter when it’s cold, but great for achy bones & stressed minds any time of year! Reservation’s recommended. Enjoy!😉

Food scene

Great Pub Food! I hear the beer selection is great too… hoppy IPA’s from Idaho & the great NW, lots of choices each week. Can’t go wrong w/ a burger, but their chicken strips w/ garlic Parmesan or sweet potato fries, The pork Carnitas tacos (they add a pineapple slice to cool the spice 👍🏼, )The French dip… oh, if you like spicy 🌶 you MUST try the bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers with jalapeño mint jelly. OMG. Awesome! But heat varies with the peppers so you’ve been warned! Fun “sporty” atmosphere inside & you can sit on the patio as well. IT’S ALL GOOD & it’s close! Just a 4 minute drive from the house.

Ok, THIS is a locals BREAKFAST favorite! Very small, but usually can get in without much of a wait. They’re famous for their Buffalo chips (smothered potatoes) Giant house made biscuits (& gravy of course!) & they make their own freezer jams. My favorite is the Ham steak & eggs with (sour) sourdough toast & the fried potatoes. Open for breakfast & lunch only. If you have a Carhart or John Deer cap… wear it! You’ll fit right in! Enjoy.

Nice coffee spot on Main St. in our quaint, historic downtown area. They have an amazing selection of sweet & savory CREPES! These folks relocated from Seattle so the coffee is on point too! Was a soda fountain & pharmacy back in the day. They’ve kept the historic charm! Nice spot for a bite & drink.

COFFEE. This place was started by a group of guys in Sun Valley many moons ago. They took coffee to the next level & collected all of the favorite recipes from Mom’s & gramma’s for their house made baked goods. The result was a kick a** coffee shop with super cool vibes that started getting featured articles in Sunset Magazine, & the like! So they brought it to TWIN FALLS! Another one of the locals’ favorite. Great selection of breakfast & lunch items, the biggest rice crispy treat you’ll ever see in your life , plus the coffee & teas are awesome. Try the Bowl-of-Soul!! …Coffee, espresso, Mexican hot chocolate & their hand whipped whip cream (aka: CRACK!) on top! I get mine HALF sweet. Perfect! They just opened a 2nd location in Twin Falls, but the original is just 5 minutes from the house!

Norms is a local, family run diner downtown that serves up generous meals & features well loved, house made dinner specials each weeknight, that often SELL OUT! Go for a hearty breakfast or call to see if you’ve been blessed enough to be in Twin Falls on their Chicken & Dumpling night! Yum!

Locally designed Idaho Merch!

Our friends Cory & Kenji started up their dream of having a graphic arts business together & boy, has it taken off! You’ll love talking to Cory & definitely want something cool (T-shirt, Coffee mug, pajama’s 🤷🏻‍♀️) with his wife’s designs on them! The shop is super cool too… another Main Street shop in the historic downtown. When you’re done shopping, go next door for some local ice cream or across the street for a beer & a bite at KOTO Brewing!
LOCALLY designed, SUPER COOL Idaho wear & gear! If you stopped by the visitors center, you saw some of their selection, but this Main Street shop is worth stopping by to meet the owners ( Cory & Kenji) & just check out the amazing vibe. Awesome friendly people. Fun designs. Great spot to check out downtown.
