If you only have 2 days in Central Oregon we highly recommend a day at Smith Rock. Its a quick drive from the Weehouse. for those in better shape we recommend Misery Ridge for a hike. its short but strenuous with amazing views of Monkey Face and all of Central oregon from the top.

We highly recommend floating the river especially on a concert night. listen to the live sounds of your favorite artists while floating along the Deschutes River.

Summers are very dry so be respectful with fire. its not unlikey to have a month or 2 of smoke because of a forest fire that was started by simply throwing a cigarette but out or leaving a fire unattended. Please help us keep Central oregon clean and beautiful!

WATER - SUNSCREEN - SHADE
Its the high desert, so bring more water than you think you'll need. if you are going on a day hike best to bring a gallon per person or bring a water filter so you can pull water from the creeks.
Don't forget sunscreen and a nice shady hat is always nice for the blazing hot sun.
