Beach

Kal Beach, located just minutes south of Vernon, British Columbia, is the most popular beach on Kalamalka Lake and for good reason. The 300 meter long beach has pristine soft sand, plenty of shade from the large poplars, picnic tables and plenty of space for the kids to play or to sprawl out and sunbathe. It is easily accessible as Kal Lake Road runs right along its northern edge. There is plenty of free parking, a concession as well as public washrooms and change rooms. Aside from the popular concession stand, on the west end of the beach there is Kalamalka Lake General Store and on the east end of the beach is Alexander's Beach Pub which has a huge patio overlooking the lake and beach. Kal Beach is a popular launching place for paddle boarders.

Juniper Bay Beach is the perfect place for a family picnic, with its beautiful sandy beach, public toilets, grassy areas, as well as stunning lake and mountain views. Kal park has loads of different types of wildlife species including deer, cougars, bears, rattlesnakes, and much more.
