Truly unique games for kids of all ages. The owners are amazing and know everything about all their games, and let you touch and try them all out. If you have kids, this is an absolute must as ours beg to come here every time we're in town. We have a few at the cabin, so feel free to use them when you stay as we're starting a little collection :)

This is your one stop shop to rent bikes (fat tire ones or E-Bikes too), SUP's, kayaks, snowshoes, cross country skis, etc. They also deliver (kayaks, etc) locally right to your door and pick up, free of charge! Talk about convenient :). They also offer guided tours as well.

You can't miss this store when you come into Suttons Bay. There is SO much to look at. Tons of outdoor yard ornaments, statues, unique wind chimes, etc. This is a MUST while in town.

Such a cool science store. Think astronomy, geology, biology, unique games, telescopes, etc. These are things you wouldn't find at your big chain stores. A great store to find unique gifts for all ages.

Boone's is KNOWN for their 'Massive Mary'. If you love appetizers and bloody mary's this is a MUST. Try one, you won't regret it! They also have a rooftop deck that's open in the summer.

Amazing local beers and good food, set in a large beautiful lot. There's always a huge bonfire going, music, and cornhole. This is a MUST if you're in the area. This is about a 5 min drive from our rental.

Chimoski's has the most amazing pies, doughnuts, cookies, cupcakes, you name it! Probably because this family owns a few of the local orchards so they have baking in their DNA. Come early in the morning and you can have a treat warm out of the oven.

Also you can upgrade your crust to butter sea salt. Do it! It's so good! This is a 3 min drive from our rental so it's great to pick up carry out.

This is hand down one of our favorite places in Sutton's Bay. They make fresh croissants (chocolate, apricot, cherry, the list goes on and on). They also have the most AMAZING sandwiches. All fresh ingredients. You can take it back home or eat right there on the farm (picnic tables available there).

Awesome hard ciders (we LOVE Smackintosh - try it!). Get a flight to try various local ciders, along with a cheese plate that has the most amazing pepper jelly to go with the crackers. YUM! This has a beautiful setting outside - lots of picnic tables and this backs up to a local vineyard. There's cornhole to play as well. Or on those chilly fall nights you they have firepits in private areas if you have a group. Also if you have kids (bonus tip!) there is a little seating area inside and there's a bench that has a 'toys' sign above it. It's nice that as a parent that you can relax and let your kids play while you enjoy a drink.

Hiking/SightSeeing/Fun Things to Do
This is a little drive from our rental, but if you've never been, it's BEAUTIFUL (water that is so blue and green). The sleeping bear dune national park covers a 35-mile-long stretch of Lake Michigan's eastern coastline. If you're fit and like a challenge, climb up the dunes and enjoy an absolutely breathtaking view. Our kids love running and jumping down. However if you're not looking for a challenge, there is also a scenic drive where you can enjoy a look out.

The sleeping bear dune national park covers a 35-mile-long stretch of Lake Michigan's eastern coastline. If you're fit and like a challenge, climb up the dunes and enjoy an absolutely breathtaking view. Our kids love running and jumping down. However if you're not looking for a challenge, there is also a scenic drive where you can enjoy a look out.
If you like hiking, this is a must. Stunning views or Michigan's coast line, and the opportunity to climb the dunes too. Water that looks so blue and green you'll think you're in the Caribbean.

Fishtown is such a cool little village. Walk on the pier, visit shops (like an old time candy store, etc), watch fisherman fish right from the dock. Buy some smoked fish spread to take back home, etc. My kids love this place,
