For concerts- but other fun too! A truly beautiful, memorable, and historic place. There are some hiking trails, and many use the amphitheater for workouts in the morning/during the day.

If someone flashes their brights at you while driving....
It's likely that there is wildlife close to the road- go slow and use caution. This is a frequent occurrence in Evergreen. If there's a traffic jam in town, it's often due to a herd of elk leisurely crossing the road.

Evergreen is a relaxed mountain town.
Most restaurants and bars close on the early side in the evening, with Cactus Jack's and Little Bear staying open the latest.
