Great Thai food. They may have changed the name but still same location and Thai Food. Walk-able a few blocks. It is a nice place for solo dinig on Central Ave. Casual.

This Farmers Market is open weekends in Summer and other times of year too regularly. It is HUGE. Lots to look at and try out. Fun to check out. Good prices on flowers, food, and more stuff. Can be a little crowded sometimes, but worth it usually.

312 East Lyndale Ave NThis Farmers Market is open weekends in Summer and other times of year too regularly. It is HUGE. Lots to look at and try out. Fun to check out. Good prices on flowers, food, and more stuff. Can be a little crowded sometimes, but worth it usually.
Everything Else
LARGE HUGE LIBRARY> A place to just get lost in a corner of this 4 story place on a couch somewhere, and get peace and quiet. Relaxation. A coffee shop is on site on ground level. This is a state of the art Library.

A Bookstore that specializes in occult type books. But has cards, and natural herbs and jewelry and other items. Tarot reader, etc. Just somewhere to check if bored.

This Art Center is a few blocks between downtown and Uptown and has a free outdoor park like experience with large odd sculptures like the huge iconic spoon and cherry, and a blue rooster, etc. Inside is closed Mondays, inside is take it or leave it type art. I heard they have art mini golf on the roof through September. Free ti look at rooftop golf get a great downtown view photo up there.

FERRIS WHEEL 20 minute ride that you can see views of Downtown and Mississippi river, and drink or eat certain meals on it. Just ask them the details.
