Here are some of the local activities, all within easy reach!
A decent 9 hole pay-and-play. They offer 18 holes, which is basically the same 9 twice (on different tees for the back 9). They also have an excellent driving range, and even offer FootGolf (golf with a football, on a separate pitch and put course) and Frisbee Golf!

Bowling, climbing, soft play, laser quest, scramble nets, crazy golf... the kids LOVE it here! You can book online, or just turn up. It's within walking distance, but you will need to cross a very busy road so it may be better by car.

Opposite Littlehampton seafront, and a 5 minute drive from Tom's, Norfolk Gardens has an excellent crazy golf, a really good cafe (cheaper than the ones on the front), tennis courts and a pitch and put golf course. There is also an amazing little steam train which you can take the children on! The train stops half way at another park called Mewsbrook, where you can grab an ice cream, ride on swan pedallos, and play in a really good play park (the other side of the lake). Well worth a visit!
Norfolk Gardens
Norfolk GardensOpposite Littlehampton seafront, and a 5 minute drive from Tom's, Norfolk Gardens has an excellent crazy golf, a really good cafe (cheaper than the ones on the front), tennis courts and a pitch and put golf course. There is also an amazing little steam train which you can take the children on! The train stops half way at another park called Mewsbrook, where you can grab an ice cream, ride on swan pedallos, and play in a really good play park (the other side of the lake). Well worth a visit!

Sea RoadLooking out over Littlehampton Seafront, less than 5 minutes drive and easily walkable from Tom's (probably 25 minutes walking along the seafront to the West). Littlehampton Wave has 2 indoor swimming pools and a state-of-the-art gym with an incredible view over the sea!
On Littlehampton Seafront, this is a brilliant place to entertain younger children. Penny slot machines, arcade games, soft play, rides and slides... it's a kid's dream!

If you want a swimming pool that's more geared towards children playing than swimming lengths, then it's worth driving to Worthing for this one. If you plan ahead, they do a brilliant inflatable obstacle course in the big pool! The fun pool has a big slide and all sorts of fountains and fun stuff for kids. Much better for really small children and babies than the Littlehampton pool, as this on has a beach-style section where they can play within their depth.

Always buzzing with activity, and an easy walk or drive from Tom's! I tend to walk as the parking on the seafront isn't cheap.

City/town information
Littlehampton is a 5 minute drive from Tom's, and it's well worth a visit! This charming fishing town sits beside the mouth of the River Arun. There are also famous fish and chip shops along the riverside. If you fancy a longer walk, it's worth walking up the river side to the red bridge, over the bridge and back down the West bank of the river to West Beach - a stunning sandy beach!

Such a stunning castle! The ancient town of Arundel is only 15 minutes by car from Tom's, and you could easily spend half a day just exploring here. You can book ahead to go in the castle or just into the grounds.

I love taking the children here! It is and enormous FREE gardens at the top of Highdown Hill, which is beautifully kept with every species of plant you can imagine. For the adults, it's the perfect place for a quiet stroll, and for the kids, it is unbeatable for hide-and-seek! Trust me kids, you won't be disappointed.

Everyone's favourite place to relax with a beverage in Rustington, whether that be a hot beverage or a cold one! Literally 1 minute from Tom's back gate - just turn left out of the gate, then right and your'e there! They also serve really good breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

I usually take my children here for a treat on a Saturday! If you fancy croissants for breakfast, or a french stick for lunch, this is the place!

A good family pub with a large beer garden. I imagine this would be a good one for watching sport, though that's not really my thing so I'm guessing! I do know however that they serve all sorts of grilled dishes in large quantities!
