There is weekly markets held every Saturday 9-2pm at the memorial park waterfront, featuring fresh produce, gourmet food, art, fashion, crafts and plants.
There is a safe bike path throughout, which is an excellent way to see the sights and soak up the sunshine.
There are plenty of national parks and hikes nearby, including crack-neck look out, Wyrrabalong national park and and Toowoon Bay Point, which overlooks Toowoon Bay, Forresters Beach, Bateau Bay Beach & Spoon Bay.
