Beach and Aperitivo

Boccadasse is the most beautiful beach close to the city center and the airbnb. Once a tiny fisher village, you can still find those colourful, characteristic old houses which are typical for Liguria. You can go to the beach, enjoy the sun, swim in the mediterranian sea and enjoy a great aperitivo in one of the beach bars. And of course: Try the typical focaccia Genovese. ;)

Most beautiful walk on the seaside

Just 20 Minutes with the bus from our airbnb, you can reach Nervi, one of the most beautiful quarters of Genoa. We recommend you to have a walk on the beautiful promenade along to the sea side, have a coffee, maybe an ice cream and when you finish your walk, you can relax and swim on the beach of capolungo.

Sehenswürdigkeiten

One of the most amazing streets in Genoa is the Via Garibaldi, which is one of the UNESCO world heritages. Enjoy a walk there, feel the history and visit the beautiful palaces which the rich Genovese people once built - many hundret years ago. Our insider tipp: Once in Via Garibaldi, visit also the street "Via Lucoli", it's around the corner and you will love all the traditional and beautiful shops there. It's also a good point from where you can start to visit the historical center of Genoa - with all the tiny and characteristic streets.

If you stay more than one day, we highly recommend you to take the train and visit Camogli. It's a phantastic place on the riviera, beautuful old, colourful houses, an amazing beach, great focaccia and icea cream and a beautiful church on a tiny island. In Camogli, you'll find real "dolce vita". ;)

Relax and panoramic view

After a long walk in the city center, just take the elevator from "piazza portello" and relax on this beautiful place, the Spianata di Castelletto. Sit down, breathe the fresh air of the pine trees and enjoy the breathtaking view on the city and the sea. And drink an aperol spritz. ;) Our insider Tipp: Try the "granita siciliana" at the ice cream shop "Don Paolo".
