This is a little neighbourhood gem. It's a mix of Moroccan restaurant, coffee/tea shop, concert venue, and also has a dressmaking/tailoring section. Their garden is eccentrically beautiful.

Pepe's does a great clam pizza, but the wait outside is often long and arduous. However, once you're through the door, your food arrives quickly and the service is pretty efficient.

Unpretentious and relaxed Mexican-themed bar/restaurant. The food could be better (read: don't get food there), but the bar itself is a great local hangout. And they salt their Tecate cans!
