Sightseeing
You can drive up the mountain toll road, and take an elevator to the top for windy, great views of the Adirondack high peaks. Or you can walk from the parking area to the peak. You can also visit the Whiteface Mountain Ski area to take a chairlift or gondola ride in the summer. Check with the LP Chamber or ORDA (Olympic Region Development Authority) for hours and fees.

Generally the offerings include classic favorites, a comedy, a children's play and something a bit avant guard. Always well done in an intimate theater setting.

Check out LPCA for art exhibits, theater, classical music, modern dance and other programming. The small, nicely appointed theater has good views and acoustics for every seat. Nicely landscaped.
