Mossman Gorge - 15 minutes from Port Douglas. Visit Mossman Gorge and meet the first people of our land, the Kuku Yalanji, for a guided walk through the rainforest. Refresh with a swim in the crisp rainwater streams of the Gorge. For walks, remember to pack insect repellent and sunscreen, and it’s recommended you wear light cotton apparel and comfortable shoes.

Hartleys Crocodile Adventure Park - 30 minutes from Port Douglas. Hartley’s is listed as ‘The best crocodile show in Australia’ and a must do while in Far North Queensland. Be taken on a wet land boat road, see crocodiles up close and learn of the conservation that Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures have undertaken. See a snake show and listen to a professional on how to avoid a snake bite. Also see the wonderful Koala’s and their interesting habitat.
