You can take the Monarch Crest Scenic Tramway ($10 per adult with senior and child discounts) or opt for the easy hike (if there is such a thing at 11,312 feet elevation) from the parking lot up to the top where the lookout tower gives you majestic 360 degree views of the Rocky Mountains. The continental divide runs across the peak.

Drive to the top of one of Colorado's iconic 14ers. At 14,115 feet in elevation, this ranks as Colorado's 30th tallest mountain. The road is a bit hairy and steep so make sure that you are comfortable driving up and down steep and twisty roads! Be warned though, the price of admission is not cheap! Summer admission price is $15 per person or $50 per vehicle (limit to 5 passengers). The cog railway to Pikes Peak has been discontinued as of 2018 so driving or taking a bus tour are your only options other than a strenuous hike to get to the top.
