If you want to experience a real roman meal (pasta, pizza, meat) come to Francesco. It's become more and more touristic because of Tripadvisor, but it's still good.

One of my mom's favorite restaurants. The owner, on beautiful middle age woman, usually welcomes you with fried bread. Not very cheap but totally worth it. Recently, they also opened a bistrot area.

Extremely good, family run restaurant, cozy but classy at the same time. Kind of expensive (35-45 euros per person) but totally worth it.

My kitchen when I did renovation works at home. A room, nothing more. No tourists, just locals. Little english spoken, but simple food speaks for itself: pasta, meat, veggies and fish on fridays.

This bar called Antico Caffè Ruschena has the best croissants and cappuccino to me. You have to try them! Go there in the morning and you'll see all the housemade delicious croissants at the counter!
