Go and take a walk there, great park, great views of Singapore. You can visit the fire station on saturday mornings starting at 9am, big success with kids every time !

Big park to cycle, run, walk and swim.
You can go to the city by foot from our house, although it will take a bit of time (12kms), but a great walk, arriving in gardens by the bay north, then south.

Excellent texan bbq, close from my place. Joo Chiat a very lively place, be warned though, there is some red light activity, so dont go there after 7pm if that makes you uncomfortable.
