No cars allowed on the island. Hitch a ride on the ferry and have a great day riding bikes, carriage ride or just walking to all the sites. The Grand Hotel is a site to see. They filmed the movie "Somewhere In Time" there staring Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour.
