Food Scene
Dandelion Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants for its uniqueness and healthy vegan food options. There is outside seating and it is a great place to meet people and experience the local Orlando scene. Every full and new moon, they have a Drum Circle in the nearby Bodhi Garden with drumming, music, dancing, and local vendors. Some of my favorite items are the Sweet Potato burrito, Giddy-up bowl and their famous hummus.

The restaurant is open late- 1am during the week and 4am on weekends so it is a good option if you are hungry late at night.

Great pizza restaurant with vegan and gluten-free options. There's a lot of great pizza places in Orlando but this is one of my favorites. Blaze Pizza near Lee Rd. is another great option for those on a budget.

The drink options are very popular and the food is good for a chain restaurant. A popular restaurant for tourists visiting Florida.
Great restaurant for fine dining and seasonal, healthy meals. The menu is always changing and the food is amazing. Great for dates and special occasions. Very elegant atmosphere.

There's a few locations in the Downtown Orlando area. I go here for cheap tacos late at night. Great for those on a budget. I get a few tacos for about $5.

Parks & Nature
Leu Gardens is a beautiful Botanical Gardens and they often have movie nights and other events that allow you to see the gardens while attending the event. Great place for taking photos as well.

Sightseeing
Lake Eola is in downtown orlando and a great place to take a walk and take photos of the fountain and swans and ducks walking around the lake. On Sundays, there is a large farmer's market and group yoga session as well.

Shopping
Some of my guests have visited largely for the deals on clothing and luggage at the outlet shops. Depending on where you come from, some of the deals on clothing and other merchandise is much better than the retail stores. Many of the stores are name brand with discount prices.

Publix is the nearest grocery store with food and bathroom items as well as an in-store pharmacy. It's only about 5-10 minutes from the house. There are some organic food items here as well. For more vegan and organic items, you may choose to visit Whole Foods or Hoover's Market which are about 15 minutes from the house.
