Big C, Tesco and Macro are good places to pick up supplies. Also, the more upmarket Limpipong next door to Homemart. There is a pedestrian street market every Saturday evening from 4-10pm. where there are street food stalls and stalls selling locally crafted products and souvenirs.

There are a number of diving schools on the island but we recommend Neil and Monique at Sail Rock Divers in Chaloklum. They are the only PADI Dive Centre of Excellence in SE Asia and they will collect and return guests to and from the villa for diving trips. (+66) 77 374 321.

The Pyramid Yoga Center is located in the north west of the island above Haad Salad and Haad Yao Beaches. The Pyramid offers daily yoga classes, yoga workshops, retreats, teacher training, sound healing sessions, therapeutic bodywork, astrology readings as well as Kirtan Chanting in the famous Sound Dome every sunday night at 7pm.

Haad Son : The ‘Secret beach’ is worth a visit. If you walk along to the Spit there is a good restaurant at Koh Raham resort where you can sit in hammocks or on benches overlooking the sea. You can also feed the fish from here and this is a great snorkelling spot. (Favorite)

One of the island's grandest waterfalls is a steep 250m walk up a jungle trail, but once there it is quite and impressive fall. Walk a further 200m up the path and it brings you to a fantastic moutnaintop viewpoint. Nearby, there is also along widing foot trail that leads up the mountain Khao Ra peak and viewpoint.

It is a fairytale of huge granite boulders and multitudes of fresh water pools and can be walked its full length of 3kms. A pretty little beach on the west side of Chaloklum Bay which is known for its laid back vibe and is a popular snorkelling spot. The dirt road is badly jutted in places and hard to tackle on a moped, better on a 4WD or you can take a boat taxi from Chaloklum.
