One of my favorite local spots. They have a nutella latte omg. Great salads and sandwiches (the salmon sandwich is my favorite). Great beer selection. Cafe atmosphere.

They are famous for being on a food show. Their food is decent. The real reason to go is for their fried alligator appetizer.

This is the real deal for freshly prepared fish, chicken, brisket. It's a small order at the counter place, with some seating. I recommend calling in an order to go. Their kale salad and ceviche is amazing.

This is usually a very quiet and peaceful place. There are a few small areas that allow accessibility to the dunes area to people with mobility issues. Don't go alone at night, it can get kind of shady. This area used to be a subdivision, which was relocated when the power plant was built. Make sure you go to the left when the road ends, not straight into the power plant area. People will meet you at your car with guns drawn.

Large state park has a public beach and hiking trails. For a less crowded experience, check out the north unit, take sheridan road and head East on 17th street. Trails connect from North Point Marina down to Hosah Park, through the North Unit. The Main unit of the park has a resort with a nice restaurant.

Check the hours before you go, they close the trails fairly early. This is about a 40 minute drive, but if you've ever wanted to walk through a bog on a floating trail, this is probably the place to go. Cute little nature area on site also.

This is just a grocery store/ Liquor store, but it is the largest one I have ever been in. They should have about anything you need to find here. It's worth a trip just to gawk at everything. Their sushi is really good (It's by the deli). Debit cards or cash only, no credit cards.

As a local, I avoid this place like the plague. Others who like to shop seem to like it, though, so I figured I'd add it to the list. They open up the mall early to mall walkers, if that's the kind of thing you are interested in.
