You will prepare a total of 13 recipes including special spice pastes, not found anywhere else on this island of this quality or in these unique dishes. Book early as they only accept 10 cooks with 4 classes per week.

Gunung Kawi in Tampaksiring Village - 11th Century candi (pronounced chandi, meaning tombs) of a Royal Balinese Family. Archeologists believe the candies commemorate the King, Anak Wungsu, and his Queens. There are three sets of tombs: Royal Tombs (King and 4 favourite wives), Queens Tombs and the 10th Tomb. All of the candi are carved from the riverside cliff face and have beautiful reliefs of temple facades. The candi don’t have any bones or ashes, but seem to have been erected to complete the religious rites of honouring the spirits of the deceased. (30 minutes north/east of Ubud)
